Chassis-Mounted Load Deck
The secondary load deck mounts directly to the lorry chassis and is rated to carry a 4-tonne skip independently. Load transfers from the upper skip through the deck and into the chassis support frame, never through the lower skip. UK Patent GB2609453 granted. Detailed engineering, prototyping, and validation work still ahead. Final ratings subject to structural review and sign-off by qualified engineers.

Retrofit Compatible
Designed to retrofit existing skip lorries using the vehicle's existing hydraulic and electrical systems. Operated via cab lever or remote handset. Folds to a stowed vertical position when not in use, allowing the lorry to operate as a standard single-skip vehicle. Not every vehicle will be suitable until individually assessed. Final fitment, approvals, and integration agreed with manufacturers and converters per build.

Twin-Restraint Cargo Security
A retractable hook system locks the upper skip to the deck, with secondary chain restraints providing redundant load security. The two-layer approach mirrors standard practice for stacked transport loads. Restraint specifications subject to engineering validation. Compliance with applicable UK transport regulations verified per build.
